David Bloom, Senior Vice President

David has been Senior Vice President of Resource America since 2001 and Head of Real Estate and Senior Vice President of Resource Capital Corp. (NYSE: RSO) since its formation in 2005. He has also been President of Resource Real Estate since 2004 and President of Resource Real Estate Funding since 2005.

Prior to joining Resource America, he was a Senior Vice President of Colony Capital, LLC, the real estate private equity fund manager, as well as a Principal of Colony Capital Asia Pacific from 1999 through 2001. From 1998 through 1999, he was a Director of Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, the real estate investment bank. From 1992 through 1998, he practiced law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York and Drinker Biddle & Reath in Philadelphia. He began his real estate career in 1987 as an Acquisitions and Development Associate with Strouse, Greenberg & Company, a regional full-service real estate company. David is a member of the Board of Trustees of Ursinus College and serves on its Investment, Finance and Advancement committees.
