Edward E. Cohen, Chairman

Edward E. Cohen has been Chairman of the Board of Resource America, Inc. since 1990 and has been a member of its Board of Directors since 1988.

He was Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to 2004 and President from 2000 to 2003. Ed was Chairman of the Board of Resource Capital Corp. (NYSE: RSO), a publicly-traded real estate investment trust managed by Resource America, Inc., from its formation in 2005 to November 2009 and has been a Director since November 2009. He has also been Chief Executive Officer and President of Atlas Energy, L.P. (NYSE: ATLS) since February 2011. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from January 2006 until February 2011 and as Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Pipeline Holdings, L.P. from January 2006 until February 2009 and has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors since 2006. Ed was Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Energy, Inc. from September 2000 until February 2011. He served as President of Atlas Energy, Inc. from September 2000 until October 2009. Ed served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive officer of Atlas Energy Resources, LLC from June 2006 until February 2011. He has been Chairman of the Managing Board of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. since 1999 and was Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. from 1999 until January 2009.

He has been Chairman of the Board of Brandywine Construction & Management, Inc. (a property management company) since 1994.
