John Snowden, CFA, Managing Director, Global Portfolio Manager

John Snowden serves as the lead portfolio manager for the Resource Real Estate Diversified Income Fund (“the Fund”) and is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fund.

Prior to becoming lead portfolio manager of the Fund in June 2015, Mr. Snowden served as Managing Director of Resource Real Estate Global Property Securities (Aust.) Pty Ltd (RREGPS), a 75% owned subsidiary of Resource Real Estate, Inc. He served RREGPS in that role from June 2013 to June 2015, and, in that role, was primarily focused on managing an institutional global real estate equity fund. From February 2010 to April 2013, Mr. Snowden served as Managing Director, Head of Global Equity & Real Estate Securities for AIMS Snowden Global Securities Management PL (“AIMS”), a company founded by Mr. Snowden and specializing in the management of Asian and Australian real estate and equity portfolios. Previously, Mr. Snowden held senior real estate security portfolio management positions in the U.S. and Asia at Colonial First State Global Asset Management, UBS Global Asset Management, JPMorgan IM Australia Limited and J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. Mr. Snowden earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Snowden is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
